Wow...the days just seem to drift by without much notice. I just realized what todays date was...and it's my birthday. Heh. Then again, with this place, I'm not surprised that I didn't notice the date.

And just what is this? It...looks like the Master Emerald...but it...it's soft and squishy.

(OOC: Knuckles was thinking about how he wanted the Master Emerald, and he got it...in plushie form..he's going to use it as a pillow.)

Feels good to be back to normal now. I don't mind being around humans and even helping them out, but I don't want to be one. I like being an echidna.

And it looks like Amy Rose is here. Man I feel sorry for all the Sonics, though she'll be targeting the Sonic from my world mostly.

Welcome to Econtra, Amy. Hope you have fun chasing the hedgehog around. Tails, can you keep an eye on Sonic to make sure he doesn't do anything too incredibly stupid?

Oh man. I woke up in the middle of the night and find out that one of the Sonics' has gone crazy, but then again...I don't really think he is. Because when I woke up....I found out something interesting...

Tails: A simple set of basic tools with a note that says: "I'm not sure if you'll be able to use these...but still."

Training orientation wasn't worth much, but after I got stuck under mistletoe. I swear that other Sonic has a death wish. When I catch that hedgehog he'll pay for it.

However, I'm worried about Sonic. Apparently he was caught under the mistletoe with Shadow and it's bothering him. Why it's bothering him I don't really know. Tails, can you tell me anything about it? He might tell you more than he tells me and I don't want to push him.

I just hope he really is ok.

*Sigh* I keep forgetting about this thing.

It would appear that more people have arrived. None of them seem to have seen an Echidna. About a week or so ago I was out and I noticed a human climbing one of the buildings and decided to see if I could still climb around this place and I started climbing. The guy fell off of the building after he saw me. I don't know what it is about the people here.

It would appear that Sonic (the one that I know) is getting sick. He needs to get some sleep, not just hang around his room all day. *sigh* I hope he gets better soon.

By the Maidens Sonic needs to grow up some. I'm awake now, and I found this red cloak. Thank you whoever sent it. It's red and seems to fit perfectly. It will be used.

This is a very odd place. This couldn't be Eggman's doing, there are none of the usual robots. *sigh* I need to get back to Angel Island, I don't want Rouge to try and steal the Master Emerald again.

Knuckles was born on February 2nd, 20XX, as Shinta, but was given the nickname of Knuckles at a young age. Not many people know his real name, and he prefers to keep it that way. He grew up learning and believing about two goddesses worshiped by the ancient anthropomorphic animal races of the planet, The Maidens of the Balance, The White Maiden, or the Maiden of Light and Order and the Black Maiden, or the Maiden of Darkness and Chaos.

The two maidens are said to be the ones who created the universe and are constantly struggling to keep balance in the world, often acting through mortal agents. The White Maiden was said to have created the Master Emerald in order to control the power of the Seven Chaos Emeralds created by the Black Maiden. The Black Maiden created the Seven Chaos Emeralds in order to corrupt the power hungry so that they would go to great lengths in order to obtain the power. So after creating the Master Emerald, the White Maiden placed them under Chaos’ protection. The ancient echidna tribe pushed their chieftain to take the Chaos Emeralds in order to use the power to use against their peoples enemies. At the same time, The White Maiden was using Tikal, the chieftain’s daughter as one of her chosen and warned her about what was going to happen. Sadly Tikal was unable to stop the echidna warriors and many of them were lost after enraging Chaos. At the cost of her own life Tikal sealed Chaos away in the Master Emerald, thus creating the race of Guardians, to who Knuckles is the latest.

At the young age of 8, Knuckle’s father left his post as Guardian for an unknown reason, leaving Knuckles to take the post, even though he was so young. Knuckles never knew his mother, since she died when he was just a baby. Knuckles still carries a lot of bitterness towards his father for abandoning him when he was young. Only few others know his real name, including Tikal, who guided him when he needed it. Tikal is the only one who calls Knuckles by his real name.

Five years later, while at his post, something fell out of the sky, landing on Angel Island. It was Dr. Eggman and his Death Egg. After meeting their first meeting Eggman managed to convince the rather gullible Knuckles that Sonic was coming to the island to steal the Master Emerald, when in fact, it was Eggman that was planning on stealing the Master Emerald to power the Death Egg. So off he went to fight the threat to the Master Emerald. During his fight with Sonic and Tails at the Lava Reef area, a cave in is set off, separating Sonic and Knuckles from Tails, forcing the two to work together in order to get out. This is when Knuckles finds out that he’s been tricked and he heads off to the Emerald Chamber only to see Eggman making off with the Master Emerald. After unsuccessfully trying to get the Master Emerald back, Knuckles leads Sonic and Tails to the Sky Sanctuary to catch up with the Death Egg before it takes off.

When Knuckles catches back up with Sonic and Tails, the three of them go on to invade the Death Egg. After finding Eggman, Sonic is forced to use the Seven Chaos Emeralds to become Super Sonic, things go wrong. While Sonic goes Super, he loses control of the power and goes on a Berserker rampage, Knuckles tries to help him regain control and ends up taking a beating. Sonic eventually regains control and defeats Eggman, returning the Master Emerald to Angel Island.

Not too long after Sonic and Tails return the Master Emerald to Angel Island, it is taken again by Metal Sonic and a rogue Eggbot and Knuckles has to go retrieve the Master Emerald by himself. The Eggbot reused a lot of the same machines on Knuckles that were used on Sonic and Tails. When Knuckles finally found him, Metal Sonic used the Master Emerald to achieve his own super form, but in the end Knuckles got the Master Emerald back.
After dealing with Eggman and returning the Master Emerald, Sonic and Tails stop by Angel Island to visit Knuckles regularly, constantly waking him up to play. One day, while Sonic and Tails weren’t there, Knuckles discovers a floating amusement park near Angel Island. He goes to investigate and discovers that Eggman has taken over and trapped all the people in the park in order to get control of the seven rings that power the park. He encounters another group of kids in the park, consisting of Espo, Vector, Mighty, and Charmy, and teams up with them to stop Eggman.
Not too long after defeating Eggman with his new friends, Knuckles joins Sonic and Tails in the Chaos Tournament, hosted by Eggman so that he could get the Chaos Emeralds, and along with the other participants, defeat the doctor. Three years later, the doctor is back.

One night while Knuckles is asleep, Eggman manages to sneak onto Angel Island and smashes the Master Emerald, releasing Chaos who was sealed inside of it. With the Master Emerald destroyed, Angel Island crashes into the Earth and Knuckles goes to search for the shards of the Master Emerald. During his searching, he learns more about the past of his people and how Tikal and Chaos were sealed inside the Master Emerald. During Sonic’s final battle with Perfect Chaos Knuckles is able to knock some sense into Sonic when he is hesitant to use the Emeralds to fight. After the fight, Knuckles goes back to Angel Island with the Master Emerald.

A couple of months after returning the Master Emerald to Angel Island, another thief comes to try and steal it again. Rouge the Bat and Knuckles face each other across the Master Emerald, Rouge demanding that Knuckles hand it over and Knuckles refusing to do so. Neither one of them realize that Eggman was coming to take the Master Emerald, thinking that it was a Chaos Emerald instead. Knuckles, not wanting Eggman to have the Master Emerald, he smashes it with an uppercut. Knuckles and Rouge go to find the shards, each one trying to beat the other and find all of the shards. Eventually, Knuckles gets all of the shards and reunites them.

Knuckles was able to relax for a few months until he received a letter from Dr. Eggman, saying that he had a new “ultimate weapon” and a fleet of battleships that will be ready in three days. After showing the letter to Sonic and Tails, the three of them head off to defeat Eggman yet again. As it would turn out, the letter was fake, Eggman didn’t send the letter, it was Metal Sonic, who wanted revenge, and he wasn’t alone. He was being helped by Robo Knuckles, Cyber Tails and other mechanical doppelgangers. They are eventually defeated with the help of Shadow, Amy Rose, and Vector and the rest of their friends, who had also been convinced to find Eggman for reasons of their own.
